System Requirements
We host GeoBooks On Demand services in several countries to deliver the highest possible service levels and connection speeds. You get high availability and performance because our global data center network is designed to:
Eliminate any single point of failure
Minimize the amount of traffic that has to pass through congested international Internet access gateways
When you sign up for GeoBooks On Demand services, we will ask you to select the country where you want us to host your account. We recommend that you select the country where the greatest number of your users normally work. If you choose a different country, these users may experience greater downtime or slower connection speeds than they would with their domestic wide area network.
If most of your users work in a country where we do not have a data center, we recommend that you select the data center nearest to that country. For example:
Choose the USA if most of your users are in Africa, Canada, Europe or the Middle East
Choose Mexico if most of your users are in Central or South America
Choose Thailand if most of your users are in East Asia or Southeast Asia (except Mainland China, Indonesia or Singapore)
Choose Bangladesh if most of your users are in India or other South Asian countries
Choose Australia if most of your users are in Indonesia, New Zealand, Singapore or other Oceanic countries

Your country selection determines only the data center where your GeoBooks On Demand services are hosted. All our data centers host identical versions of the GeoBooks On Demand software. You can use GeoBooks On Demand services from any location, in any language and time zone, no matter where your services are hosted. You can also access our Support Center from any location, at any time, no matter where your services are hosted.
Each of our data centers is backed up by the others. If we experience problems at one of our data centers that might affect some of our customers for an extended period of time, we will temporarily transfer the affected customer accounts to a different data center, and notify the affected customers by email.
United States
Our USA data center is located in Minneapolis (GMT -6) and is designed to serve customers in the USA, Canada, Europe (including EU countries, Russia and CIS countries), the Middle East, Africa and Caribbean countries. GeoBooks On Demand services hosted at this data center can be accessed through the URL us.geobooks.biz.
Our Australia data center is located in Melbourne (GMT +10) and is designed to serve customers in Australia, Indonesia, Singapore, New Zealand and Pacific Ocean countries. GeoBooks On Demand services hosted at this data center can be accessed through the URL au.geobooks.biz.
Our Bangladesh data center is located in Dhaka (GMT +6) and is designed to serve customers in Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and other South Asian countries. GeoBooks On Demand services hosted at this data center can be accessed through the URL bd.geobooks.biz.
Our China data center is located in Shanghai (GMT +8) and is designed to serve customers in Mainland China (excluding Hong Kong SAR and Macau SAR). GeoBooks On Demand services hosted at this data center can be accessed through the URL cn.geobooks.biz.
Our Mexico data center is located in Monterrey (GMT -6) and is designed to serve customers in Mexico, Central America and South America. GeoBooks On Demand services hosted at this data center can be accessed through the URL mx.geobooks.biz.
Our Thailand data center is located in Bangkok (GMT +7) and is designed to serve customers in Thailand, Hong Kong SAR, Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia (except Indonesia and Singapore) and other East Asian countries. GeoBooks On Demand services hosted at this data center can be accessed through the URL th.geobooks.biz.
