System Requirements

End-users of GeoBooks On Demand services need a broadband Internet connection (minimum 512/256 Kbps recommended) and a PC with modem, keyboard, mouse, monitor and any browser that supports CSS1 and HTML 4.0.1 Transitional standards. Examples include:

· Microsoft® Internet Explorer® v6+ (Windows®) or v5.2+ (Apple® Macintosh®)

· Google Chrome 1+ (all platforms)

· Opera v7+ (Microsoft Windows, Linux)

· Apple Safari 1+ (Mac®)

· Camino 0.7, 0.8, 0.9, 1+ (Mac)

· Firefox 0.8, 0.9, 1+ (Linux, Macintosh, Windows, and others)

· Konqueror (Linux KDE Desktop)

· Netscape 7, 8+ (all platforms)

· Mozilla 1.5, 1.6, 1.7+ (all platforms)

· Galeon (Linux GNOME Desktop)

· Lynx 2.8.5+

GeoBooks On Demand uses the freely-available Adobe® Acrobat® Reader for reports. Your browser and the Acrobat Reader must have suitable fonts installed to view GeoBooks On Demand in the languages you use. A laserjet or inkjet printer is also recommended but not required.
